A Taste of Wine & Country

    Navigation

Winding through the swelling hills of Southeast Missouri, the Mississippi River Hills Wine Trail passes through some of the state’s most attractive countryside – fields and pastureland and stately stands of timber. Along the trail are six wineries, alike in that they all are family owned and operated, but each with its unique appeal, and offering a diversity of wines from dry and semidry to sweet and fruity. There’s something for everyone!
This is Missouri’s eighth and newest wine trail, established in 2012. It stretches 40 miles, from the center of Perry County southward through northern Cape Girardeau County. While there is beautiful scenery to behold, the trail has easy access to U.S. Interstate 55 and U.S. Highway 61 and is only 75 miles south of St. Louis and less than 10 miles north of Cape Girardeau.
Mississippi River Hills Wine Trail is planning events to take you to all six wineries, where you’ll taste the array of wines, enjoy special foods and entertainment, and be eligible to win prizes.
